The new BIOS 1805 release applies to the SABERTOOTH Z77, P8Z77-V PRO/THUNDERBOLT, P8Z77-V PRO and P8Z77-V Deluxe motherboards.

SABERTOOTH Z77 and P8Z77-V Deluxe feature improved system stability, P8Z77-V Deluxe gets enhanced compatibility with some USB devices, while the P8Z77-V PRO/THUNDERBOLT, P8Z77-V PRO and P8Z77-V Deluxe boards benefit from support for new CPUs.

SABERTOOTH Z77 didn't get support for new CPUs in this release because it got it in the previous version.

Consequently, the list of Intel processors that are compatible with the above mentioned boards is as follows: Core i3 / Core i5 / Core i7 Family, Celeron and Pentium.

There is one particular problem with Intel Xeon CPUs because this family processor is designed for servers and not for desktop models. Some features may not work properly if Z77 Series motherboards are combined with this type of processor.
