ASRock has just launched new BIOSes for its AMD-based motherboards. The package includes CPU updates for all mentioned motherboards.

To begin with, the updates for FM2A75M-DGS, FM2A55M-VG3, FM2A55M-DGS, FM2A75M-DGS R2.0 and FM2A55M-DGS R2.0 update the EZ-OC table, the X-Boost table for Richland CPU and add a BIOS setup "IOMMU" item.

When it comes to the 970DE3/U3S3, 980DE3/U3S3 and 970 Pro2 boards, the changelog mentions only CPU compatibility improvements.

All BIOSes come in three options: for Windows installation, ASRock's Instant Flash version and for DOS.

The Taiwanese manufacturer recommends its Instant Flash version due to ease of use and fail-proof results.

To update, simply download and unzip the archive to your hard drive or USB flash. Restart your computer and enter BIOS. Under the “Smart” menu, select “Instant Flash” and wait for the utility to search for valid BIOS files on your computer.

When prompted, select the version you've just downloaded and flash it.
