Just now, AMD has announced the availability of a new FirePro Unified graphics driver suitable for some of its workstation video cards, namely version 14.502.1019, which includes compatibility with Eyefinity Pro, Eyefinity with 10-Bit Color Depth, and more.

Eyefinity Pro gives users the ability to expand display configurations beyond the output capabilities of a single graphics card. This feature allows using up to 4 cards that can drive a maximum of 24 displays.

In addition to that, desktop configurations that have Eyefinity mode enabled will also be able to use 10-bit color depth projectors and displays. Also, through this update single-GPU configurations will benefit from AMD Freesync technology support.

Moreover, compatibility for EDID Management with MST has also been added. This feature provides the ability to emulate displays using EDID values, and can monitor devices connected to MST hubs as well.

However, AMD’s new release still includes some known issues that have not yet been resolved. It would be a good idea to check the Release Notes below and review all these currently known problems, as well as the supported graphics chipsets.

As for compatible operating systems, unlike the previous AMD FirePro Unified Driver 14.301.1019, this version is only compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems (both bit variants).

With this in mind, download AMD FirePro Unified Driver 14.502.1019, apply it on your system, and check our website as often as possible in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
