AMD has announced the availability of a new Catalyst Graphics driver specifically developed for the new Grand Theft Auto V title, namely version 15.4 beta, which also fixes issues for Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, and Far Cry 4.

This fresh update resolves the memory leak problem spotted while playing Battlefield 4 on certain Radeon GPUs, the crash events encountered with Battlefield Hardline, as well as some stuttering and screen tearing issues experienced by fans of the Far Cry 4 game.

In addition to that, AMD’s Catalyst also adds new CrossFire profiles for Grand Theft Auto V, Dying Light, Galactic Civilizations III, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Mortal Combat X, and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.

When it comes to operating systems, version 15.4 beta can be applied on configurations powered by Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 8.1 platforms that also include one of the compatible graphics chipsets detailed in the Release Notes below.

However, bear in mind that this release is still a beta package, therefore it contains some known issues that might occur while playing Far Cry 4, Battlefield Hardline, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, or Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.

Moreover, the producer would also appreciate if you make use of the AMD Issue Reporting Form in order to provide your feedback, so that future versions can fix more problems.

With this in mind, download AMD Catalyst Graphics Driver 15.4 Beta for your operating system and bit variant, apply it on your computer, and enjoy the changes and improvements this new release brings about.
