The new release is suitable for Windows 7 and 8.1 64-bit

AMD has just announced the availability of its new 15.15 Catalyst Graphics driver, which only includes support for the producer’s Radeon 300 Card Series, namely the Radeon R7 300, R9 300, and R9 Fury X video card lineup.

However, bear in mind that this new release is only compatible with the 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems. Even though it might work on other OSes as well, we do not recommend applying it on different platforms.

In addition to that, even if no serious problems should appear, you can still use the AMD Issue Reporting Form for any improper behavior encountered as a result of this update.

When it comes to changes, AMD doesn’t highlight any improvements or fixes whatsoever. Yet, applying this release might increase performance in titles such as Dead Island: Epidemic, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Sniper Elite III, and Murdered: Soul Suspect - still, I only assume this to be a potential improvement.

As for the installation steps, the process is very easy: just save and run the downloadable archive, wait for all files required for the upgrade to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on screen for a complete and successful update.

Last but not least, upon completion, it would be a good idea to restart your computer in order to ensure all changes take effect properly. If the wizard doesn’t request it, make sure to perform this step manually.

That being said, download AMD Radeon 300 Series Catalyst Graphics Driver 15.15, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and apply it on your system. Also, constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
