AMD has rolled out a new version of its Catalyst graphics package, namely version 14.30.1005, which is targeted only at its Radeon R9 285 video card.

When it comes to compatibility, this new update can be applied on both 32- and 64-bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems. Bear in mind that this release isn’t supported by Windows 8, therefore don’t try to install the package on this OS as this can cause device malfunctions.

As for the changes that this release brings, since no changelog is available whatsoever, I can only assume that version 14.30.1005 includes various performance improvements and fixes. Still, you should apply the package in order to find out what the changes really are.

In order to do that, first make sure your computer is powered by one of the compatible OSes, save the downloadable package on your desktop, run it, and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete and successful upgrade.

In addition to that, if the installer doesn’t request it upon completion, it would be best if you performed a manual system reboot in order to make sure all changes take effect properly.

That being said, download AMD Catalyst Radeon R9 285 Graphics Driver 14.30.1005, apply the latest update, and discover the changes that this release brings about. Also, constantly check our website in order to stay “updated one minute ago.”
