The update also enhances gaming experience for Project Cars

AMD has just announced the availability of its new 15.5 Beta Catalyst Graphics package through which it increases performance on Radeon R9 and R7 single GPU series for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (up to 10%) and Project Cars (up to 17%) titles.

In addition to that, the present release also updates CrossFire profile for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game, and should provide overall enhanced performance and reliability. Also, for an even richer gaming experience, AMD has highlighted a few hints on how to configure the settings for this title.

These recommendations are targeted specifically for AMD’s HairWorks feature, CrossFire and Anti-Aliasing technologies, as well as for the game’s Full Screen Exclusive Mode (further information available on the description page in the Release Notes below).

When it comes to the available files, just like the previous AMD Catalyst 15.4 Beta release, the producer has provided 4 downloadable packages, one for each compatible platform and bit variant, namely Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems.

However, bear in mind that this release is a beta one, and still experiences a few known issues, such as random flickering or corruptions when playing the two games mentioned in this article on specific settings.

Last but not least, if you intend to apply Catalyst 15.5 Beta, then save and run the appropriate file for your system configuration, follow all instructions displayed on-screen, and don’t forget to perform a reboot in order to allow all changes to take effect.

Therefore, download AMD Catalyst Graphics Driver 15.5 Beta, apply it on your computer, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago,” as we’ll keep you posted if a newer version is available.
