Thanks to Koush, the new release works with all Android devices as well as with Windows 8

The famous Android developer Koushik Dutta, also known as Koush, has released a Clockworkmod universal ADB (Android Debug Bridge) driver that works with all Android devices, and moreover, with all versions of Windows including the latest of them.

But Koush didn’t do all this by himself; likely, it was a project within the XDA community that finally came to an end.

This means that ADB and fastboot are no longer problems with the Windows 8 operating system, and no more proprietary drivers are needed – just one driver for all devices.

There are, though, some recommendations as well.

The driver must be installed while logged in as administrator (or have administrator rights), and to be absolutely sure that the ADB driver doesn’t interfere with other programs, save the work in progress and close all processes in order to have a clean installation that will get rid of any possible future problems.

That said, follow the link below and download the universal ADB driver.
